Full Product Description
The Hammok James USB to Serial RS-232 Cable is a convenient solution for connecting traditional serial devices to modern computers equipped with USB ports. It converts the USB connection into an RS-232 serial/COM port, allowing compatible serial hardware and software to communicate with the computer.
The adapter incorporates a high-performance processor chip for reliable communication and uses 30AWG wire for durability. Its 1.5-meter cable length makes it suitable for desktop, office, commercial and technical installations.
It can be useful for connecting compatible industrial equipment, POS equipment, serial communication devices, controllers and other RS-232 hardware, subject to the interface and driver requirements of the connected equipment. Hammok provides a Windows driver for the James USB-to-Serial product.
